We are a non-denominational ministry whose beliefs are derived solely from scripture and independent of doctrinal influence or practice. Our beliefs are outlined as follows: We are created in the image of God, the One God who created the heavens and the earth. God exists eternally in three forms – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. As the Father, He sent his only son to die for our sins that we may live again with Him in Eternity. As the Son, he came to us as the lamb to set us free from the bondage of sin. Jesus Christ is true God and true man who lived without sin. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary and only through His blood are we cleansed of sin and saved from destruction. As the Holy Spirit, He dwells within us to lead us and guide us in righteousness and truth while empowering us against an enemy that seeks to destroy us. Our Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and the final authority on life in the Christian faith. It contains the truth as revealed to man in God’s will for us and our eternal salvation. Our Savior died for us on the cross at Calvary, was buried and resurrected where he ascended to join our Father in Heaven. He will come again to judge the living and the dead and His kingdom will be established on earth as it is in Heaven. Man’s fall from grace though sin can only be reconciled by the sacrifice of Christ, in whom all believers will rejoice in eternal salvation while unbelievers will suffer in eternal torment. There will be a bodily resurrection upon Christ’s return where we will all stand before the throne and be judged. There is only one path to that salvation, and that is by grace through faith, repenting of sin and accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and the only mediator between man and God. Coming to Christ and being filled with the Holy Spirit empowers true believers with spiritual gifts to edify the body if Christ and bring souls to the Kingdom. These gifts were identified by the Apostle Paul as word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, healings, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues, and interpretation of tongues. It is God's will that these gifts be in operation within the body of Christ today and for all time. | ||
